Annael

Annael was born in Brazzaville and grew up between Congo, Moscow and Paris. He blossomed in music as a singer-songwriter, singer and beatmaker.
At the age of 10, Annael entered school with two options: music and dance. There he developed his musical ear and rhythmics where he learned different types of dance (tango, waltz, salsa, etc.) and became interested in the world of beatmaking at 15.

He used his savings to buy a pc, a midi keyboard and FL Studio. Then based in Montfermeil, Annael started to produce local artists. As a beatmaker, he relies on voice samples or melodies from soul or French variety songs mixed with his own compositions.

In June 2018, Annael suffered a conversion disorder causing him to lose functionality in his arm. This difficult moment leads him to think that his musical career is coming to an end. He began to take an interest in the world of visuals and aesthetics through photography, particularly through shoots of his friends with his phone during hospital visits.

These life experiences as well as his passion for music pushed Annael to develop as an artist in his own right. In 2020, he released his first project with a succession of music videos and singles starting with “Multiple Envelopes” in April 2020, followed by “Regards Volés” in early 2021.
