Crossroads 2020 shootings : 1st week

As announced on June 9, the Crossroads Festival is adopting a digital format this year, to limitate as much as possible the impact of the Covid-19 crisis. Since June 22 and until mid July, the live performances of the 28 lined-up bands will be recorded by the Attic Addict audio-visual team. To let you witness the preparation of this special edition, we propose to share with you a little throwback of this shooting tour in some of our partner locations in Hauts-de-France, in others French regions and in Belgium. Let’s start with the first week of shooting, which consisted in the recordings of 12 of our artists in five concert halls in Hauts-de-France, from Monday June 22 to Saturday June 27 !

The first Crossroads Festival shootings started on Monday, with the indie punk band Ravage and the electronica producer Adam Carpels at La Cave aux Poètes

On Tuesday, the atmosphere turned into an urban ambiance at the Flow in Lille, with the conscious rap of YN and the trap grunge XIII Amer.

On Wednesday and Thursday, Dear Deer (post-punk electro), Paprika Kinski (pop), Mardi Midi (techno noise), Fleuves Noirs (shamanic rock) and L’Argousier (electric poems) performed at theGrand Mix in Tourcoing.

Then, on Friday, back to Lille for the recording of the krautrock pop band Orange Dream at l’Aéronef.

Finally, on Saturday, we headed to La Lune des Pirates in Amiens, for the shootings of MASSTØ (soul blues) and Bill The Dog (punk).

“It was a great exercice, we’re very happy. Special mention to the super cool film crew, who made us comfortable and guided us through our very first shooting ! ”

Matthias from MASSTØ

The artists and support structures shared their live experience through their social networks. For those who may have missed it, here is a little compilation !
