National Archives of the Working World (ANMT)

Located since 1993 in the heart of Roubaix in the former Motte-Bossut spinning mill, a jewel in the crown of the 19th century textile industry, the Archives Nationales du Monde du Travail (National Archives of the World of Work) are under the authority of the Ministry of Culture.
Their mission is to collect, classify, preserve, communicate and promote the archives of economic and professional actors: companies, unions, works councils, professional organizations, associations working in the world of work.
The archives are composed not only of written, handwritten or printed documents, but also of photographs, posters and other audio and audiovisual documents.
