Candidature 2021 Test EN 1 Conditions of participation2 Application form The Crossroads Festival: directions for use*Situation #1: artists from the Hauts-de-France : (bands with at least half of their musicians living in the Hauts-de-France region) Each band must be put forward and supported by a local professional structure registered in (at least) one of the following bodies: 1. Diffusion: concert halls, festivals, producers, bars, cultural cafés, cultural centres, theatres, etc. 2. Training and transmission: music schools and academies, musical practice places, mass education players, training organisations, rehearsal studios, etc. 3. Artistic production/creation: managers, publishers, labels, show producers, recording studios, etc. 4. Information/media: radio, music press, communication agencies, etc. IMPORTANT : The bands cannot apply by themselves. The festival is not a launching pad. Every artist must first be spotted, supported and put forward by a professional structure operating in the modern music field in the Hauts-de-France region, public or private, belonging or not to the Haute-Fidélité network. The festival takes care of: - The sound, lights and filming equipments. - The technical staff. - Possibility of backline rental / centralization (please ask the organisers for any query). - The wages of the musicians and sound technician (according to the CCNCAC rates). - Meals on the day of the show. - A special access for the musicians, technicians and accompanying strutures to the professional meetings. - The communication (posters, programs, social media, press and public relations). The structure supporting the artists commits to: - Promote the programming of its artistic team within the framework of the Crossroads festival through its social media, website, newsletter and any mean of communication it usually uses. - Support its artistic team during the festival with the presence of one or several staff members. - Mobilize its professional network around its artistic team. - Be the interface between the festival and its band for any administrative or technical matter. Situation #2 : bands from other french regions and from abroad The contract is established between the Brigade d'Intervention Culturelle and a supporting structure (Bureau Export, concert hall, festival, network). Partnerships between tour organisers and supporting structures are also possible, but the only interlocutor remains the supporting structure. The festival takes care of: - The sound, lights and filming equipments. - The technical staff. - Possibility of backline rental / centralization (please ask the organisers for any query). - Meals on the day of the show. - The wages of the musicians and sound technician (according to the CCNCAC rates in France) that would then be recharged to the supporting structure. - The booking and payment of the hotel rooms for the musicians, technicians and their supporting staff, that would then be recharded to the supporting structure. - A special access for the musicians, technicians and accompanying strutures to the professional meetings. - The communication (posters, programs, social media, press and public relations). The supporting structure takes care of: - The payment of the artists and technicians wages recharged by the Brigade d'Intervention Culturelle. - The hotel bills for the musicians, technicians and their supporting staff recharged by the Brigade d'Intervention Culturelle. - A 40 % down payment for the wages and hotel bills to the Brigade d'Intervention Culturelle occuring at the partnership convention formalisation in spring 2019. - The transport fees for the artists and the technicians. The supporting structure also commits to: - Promote the programming of its artistic team within the framework of the Crossroads festival through its social media, website, newsletter and any mean of communication it usually uses. - Support its artistic team during the festival with the presence of one of several staff members. - Mobilize its professional network around its artistic team. - Be the interface between the festival and its band for any administrative or technical matter.
